- 01/02/2008 - Crest Software releases new MS Excel Add-inThe new add-in converts Bills supplied in MS Excel format into Valesco's .val file format.
- The Valesco Excel Export Utility is free to all Valesco Estimating software users who have a current Maintnenace Support Agreement with Crest Software. The extremely simple-to-use utility is a wizard-based application which runs from within MS Excel and guides the user through a four-step process to take the existing MS Excel formatted data and speedily converts it into a .val file which can then be imported into their Valesco Estimating software. With just a few clicks of the mouse a bill can be converted instantly, without the need for any manual hand typing. Please contact support for more information.

Crest Software announce the launch of the CrestDocs product, a new and enhanced document management system designed with the contractor and project team in mind.
CrestDocs provides a collaborative approach to all project documentation control requirements, with particular attention being placed on handling project emails which can be automatically registered and indexed for all the project team to view.
The software will be previewed at all the IT Showcase Exhibitions and at Interbuild.

- 24/11/2004 - Highways Department standardize on C S Project Staffordshire Highways in a joint venture with Accord and Wrekin Construction have implemented a regional licence of Crest Software’s planning tool, C S Project Lite. The first training program has just been completed with over 100 users completing the training course.
- Highways Department implement CS Project Lite for Term Maintenance and Construction Contracts. Staffordshire County Council spends £30 million a year maintaining and improving the County's vital highway network. In April they signed up their two new highways maintenance and construction framework contractors (Accord and Wrekin) to create a seamless working arrangement heralding a new age in quality and efficiency, operating under the banner of Staffordshire Highways. Staffordshire Highways have implemented a regional licence of Crest Software’s planning tool, CS Project Lite. The first training program has just been completed with over 100 users completing the training course. “CS Project Lite was chosen for its ease of use and ability to handle both the short-term detailed programmes and the overall Framework Programme, acting as a tool to assist in the control of capital and revenue budgets.
